love how @charleswlogan frames the #InclusiveDesignUnGuide project - "an attempt to problematize efforts to make inclusive design a tidy checklist" I responded to @jesshmitchell's provocation abt community by wondering abt what it means to be welcomed: http://inclusivedesign.middcreate.net/reflect/provocation1/by-invitation-only/

Good morning, y’all. I want to reintroduce a project I’ve been working on with @sarahlw6, @jesshmitchell, @jennihayman, @hann3rbanan3r, Sarah Payne, and Noraya Razzaque. It’s the #InclusiveDesignUnGuide:

Our first #InclusiveDesignUnGuide provocation comes from @jesshmitchell, who asks, “How do we create a brave environment where people feel they can speak up?” I invite you to read the entire provocation and share your thoughts:

Our introductory #InclusiveDesignUnGuide provocation asks, “What is inclusive design?” I wrote that inclusive design is a messy room:

What metaphor helps express inclusive design to you? Respond with a GIF or share a reflection on the unguide site. 3/4

The #InclusiveDesignUnGuide is an attempt to problematize efforts to make inclusive design a tidy checklist. It’s a starting place for provocations, a gathering spot for reflections. 2/4
